By mid-September, the intense rains start to ease as the Monsoon winds lessen. The downpours gradually taper off, leaving behind a breathtaking green carpet of grass. October brings much cooler temperatures. The grass underfoot begins to fade from green to brown, signaling the end of the rainy season. Yet, the trees and bushes retain their verdant hues, standing as reminders of the season just passed.

November to February

As winter takes hold, Salalah remains a sanctuary of mild temperatures compared to the rest of the Gulf. The greenery has lessened somewhat, but the climate is delightful—neither too cold nor too warm—making it a ideal escape during these months.

March to April

With the arrival of March, temperatures begin to climb. However, the weather remains pleasant enough for camping and outdoor adventures. These months are ideal for exploring Salalah’s natural beauty before the heat intensifies.

May to Early June

The heat reaches its peak during these months, making them the hottest time of the year. Despite this, camping at the beach remains a popular activity, offering a refreshing break from the desert heat by the cool waters of the Arabian Sea.
